Original hero puppets of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, his Creation, and his wife Elizabeth from Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole, the stop-motion black comedy that ran on Adult Swim from 2010 to 2012, created by Dino Stamatopoulos, the mind behind Moral Orel.
In the series, mad scientist Victor Frankenstein has mastered immortality and turned his attention to time travel, opening a network of wormholes, “Frankenholes”, to conduct ever-stranger scientific experiments across history. Victor, the red-haired, lab-coated, immortal genius who “doesn’t like anyone,” spends the series tormenting his family, his monster neighbors, and the celebrities who come tumbling through his portals seeking his help. At his side is his cynical creation and servant, who prefers to be called “Creation” rather than “Monster”, an alcoholic (according to Victor) with a paralyzing fear of fire, a Jewish left leg that can speak when detached, and a hopeless infatuation with The Bride, who so despises him that she had her hair replaced with fire just to keep him away. Rounding out the household is Victor’s immortal wife Elizabeth, who tries her best to be loving and motherly but, starved of her husband’s attention, is carrying on an affair with Count Dracula, forever at odds with Victor over how little time he devotes to the family.
