Description

An original hero wooden blood slide box of Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) from Showtime's acclaimed crime drama Dexter, which ran from 2006 to 2013 and made a blood-spatter analyst who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer into one of television's most iconic characters. He's smart. He's lovable. He's Dexter Morgan: America's favorite serial killer, spending his days solving crimes for Miami Metro and his nights committing them. As Dexter kills each of his targets, he takes a single drop of their blood and preserves it on a glass slide, a souvenir of every life taken and the wooden box holding his collection is the physical embodiment of his secret self. As the show's single most important object, this hero box is one of three used during seasons 5 through 8. This box, a stunt box containing plastic slides in place of glass, and a third box that was burned when Dexter finally sent his trophies through the incinerator. This specific box appears on screen multiple times, including the pivotal moment when Debra finds it and sits waiting for Dexter at his condo, the discovery that changes the entire series. The box still contains several screen-used glass blood slides inside. The one and only hero example of Dexter's trophy box, slides and all, stands as a true centerpiece from the Dexter series.
