A bifurcated artifact that is never completely explained, these small copper bowls, one decorated with an ankh heiroglyph and the other with the image of an owl, are used by Paracelsus to activate the Philosopher's Stone. Heating the stone in one bowl gives it the ability to grant eternal life; using the other bowl causes the stone to take that immortality away.
