A concept bust from the Bryan Singer X-Men origin story X-Men: First Class.
Charting the coming together of Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender), the film moves from wartime Auschwitz to 1960s Cuba, with Magneto, Xavier and a young group of mutants banding together to fight the nefarious Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon).
This bust was used to illustrate the conceptual design for the proposed appearance of early X-Men recruit Beast (Nicholas Hoult). Made of fibreglass impregnated with metallic powder to create a realistic metal sheen, the intricately detailed bust shows off the face and upper torso of the scientist-turned-monster and is designed to be free-standing.
