Captain Willard's, US Army and Geneva id card's, pink letter and envelope.
Willard read his letters in his hotel room in Saigon as he waited for his mission details from command. The two page letter, from Margerie Bailey to Willard as part of a service outreach programme, is handwritten in blue ball-point pen on pink paper, and is retained in its envelope, which is addressed to Willard.
