Description

A very large bust of Ed Sullivan, executed by famed sculptor Robert Berks, noted for his bust of JFK at the Kennedy Center, as well as the 8 smaller busts owned by the White House used in the Oval Office of Martin Luther King, jr, RFK, FDR and others each President chooses to display. This one was made to be displayed in the Sullivan Room of the NYC Friars Club. It is 18.5 " tall and weighs 52 pounds. It was purchased from Berks studio in Orient, NY, in a recent sale of what was left in there at the time of his death. It is pictured in a two page layout in the 1989 book on Berks' work.
