This is a replica Harmon Buck Gin Bokai aka "Buckaroo" Bokai baseball card based on the one that was on display at, the now defunct, Star Trek: The Experience. The front was replicated using photos I shot in 2008 at STTE and the back was replicated using images of the baseball card from archival/encyclopedic sources. This is a personal scratch build.While at least one baseball card was made for DS9, as far as I can determine, a Buck Bokai baseball card never appeared on any episode. Memory Alpha claims a Bokai trading card was "seen throughout Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on Ben Sisko's desk" but I cannot corroborate. Someone, anyone, please prove me wrong and send me a screen capture. ;)The character and baseball card idea were thought up by Ricardo Delgado and Michael Piller. Modeler Greg Jein came up with the statistics appearing on the back of the card and used his own image as the character of Bokai; his image was later replaced with that of the actor Keone Young who played Bokai in the episode "If Wishes Were Horses." Keone Young resembles Greg Jein and is rumored to be the reason he was selected to play the character.
