Original artwork from the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, done by Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist JACK HIGGINS, created to celebrate the life of Chicago's legendary BOB BELL, who played Bozo the Clown on WGN-TV's BOZO'S CIRCUS. A wonderful and touching tribute, the cartoon shows Mr. Bell's clown shoes illuminated by trailing spotlights, with the caption, "THESE SHOES WILL NEVER BE FILLED" from above...how true! I have been a HUGE fan of Mr. Bell's since childhood, and ironically, he passed on December 8, 1997...my birthday.---------Bozo The Clown c.
