This is the head of the Billy ventriloquist doll used in the horror film Dead Silence. The head can be seen throughout the film as Mary Shaw takes revenge on the people who murdered her, using her dolls, one of which is Billy, in her plot for vengeance. Billy’s head is made of resin and has been crafted with the normal characteristics of ventriloquist dummies: large, rosy cheeks, with oversized eyes. The green eyes are outlined in black, as are the eyebrows. The lips of the static mouth have been painted pink, while the hair is painted black. The head, which is mounted on a ready for display black wooden stand, has several marks throughout, giving it an “aged” look for the production, but remains in good condition. Item measures approximately 12" x 12" x 15" (30cm x 30cm x 38cm.)
