This is the GIANT Bat in the movie that lives under the textile mill in a small town in Maine. It was built in Toronto in 1990 by FXSMITH and a big crew. It kills almost everyone in the movie as they go exploring below the mill. It uses pneumatics, animatronics and cable pulls, plus a man inside to give it life. It is screen-matched because .....there was only one! The wingspan was over 40 feet!
