A large figurine of Bette Davis, in character from the film, done at the time of the film\'s release by Janice Pette, sculptor, working at Vernon Kilns, a small California pottery co. There was a small issue of pieces done for DeMillle\'s NORTHWEST MOUNTED POLICE, a large assortment of FANTASIA pieces done for DISNEY, and a few other actors from 1935 to 1940 films. Most were 8 inches tall, and bear the facsmile signature of the actor and naming the studio and film. All VK issues are rare, but this one is the much rarer 16 inch size, which include Wallace Beery, Gary Cooper and Victor Mclaglen. ALL THIS was done right in the middle of Davis\' Golden period which includes her best classics, such as JEZEBEL, DARK VICTORY and NOW VOYAGER.
