Here is my half car Saleen Barricade prop. This was used in the first seen in Transformers movie when Sam literally runs into Barricade for the first time. We picked this up in Corona CA. from Molly Saleen herself.
This is the view from the inside. This pipe which goes through the firewall and under the hood was used to control the claw and light that pops out to examine Sam in their first meeting. The tire had to be removed to utilize the arm when filming. I have pictures of Michael Bay doing just this. Molly Saleen would later sign the dash for me before we left.
Here is our Barricade prop in use, both in action within the film, and testing with producer Michael Bay. Pretty cool stuff. Unfortunately the prop master kept the claw and push bar. But we have Barricade!!
Pic with Molly and she was kind enough to sign the dash of Barricade. Saleen or SMS (Steve and Molly Saleen Super Cars) have made many cars for many movies. Transformers is just one of them. How about Need For Speed, The Fast and the Furious, Liar, and much more. Saleen also made Bumblebee. I had her sign the inside of the trunk of ours.
