An important crowning decoration of Ludwig van Beethoven's Clock is missing, and until he and Claudia find it, Artie will have to suffer through loud audio hallucinations of most of Beethoven's work, eventually culminating in total deafness, in the second story line of fourth season episode Runaway. The small statue of the goddess Aphrodite is eventually found and bagged in Boston, finally deactivating the Clock and ending Artie's torment.
