Replica of the original series communicator prop designated as 'alpha', based on extensive research by the fan community, including the correct Swiss stopwatch mechanism driving the moire disc. This particular build has been augmented with an opening chirp provided by a chip scavenged from a 2008 Hallmark Star Trek ornament, which proved to be very accurate to the original sound effect.
Build by Tripper, from a kit by dstines.
