This is an Alien Queen tail tip used in the 2004 Science Fiction film Alien vs. Predator. Numerous models were used during the course of the film, this 1/3 scale piece was created to be attached to the Queen for shots where a model was used. The blue-painted tip is made of resin with an intricate level of detail and texture throughout. Shaped like a claw, the tail curves slightly as it ends in a pointed tip. At the base there is a small round hole, which was used for attaching the tail to the rest of the model. This tail tip measures approximately 8” x 1” (20cm x 3cm) and is in good condition with some very light wear.
