The covers are made from actual book binding boards giving it its authentic thickness and feel. The inner ruled pages are designed and weathered to give the journal that distressed look of much use by Abner and later Indy. There are 73 written pages packed with 41 detailed illustrations; 8 floor plans; 7 mathematical equations and 3 maps. At the end of the journal there are 19 blank pages making it 92 pages in total! The journal measures: 5.375” X 7.625” X 1.25” (13.7cm X 19.4cm X 3.2cm). This handmade replica prop is Proudly Made in the U.S.A.
The entire book from start to finish follows Abner’s pursuit for the most coveted treasure of the Israelite's: the Ark of the Covenant. Each page is printed double sided with an industrial Laser Jet book printer on heavy bond paper for detail. It is then hand sewn together and trimmed on a cutting press. Since these replica journals are entirely made by hand; there are some minor variations to each of them making them completely one of a kind. Once you have read it you will want to read over again and again. Since the holidays are around the corner, it makes a unique gift for the person who has it all!
