A retractable stunt dagger used by Xena in the season 1 episode “Mortal Beloved” to stab Marcus and return him to the Underworld. Constructed of a hollowed resin handle and a sliding metal blade with a blunted tip, this piece relies on gravity to function instead of a spring-loaded mechanism like other retractable props used on the series. To my knowledge, the episode marks the sole appearance of this prop throughout the entire series.
