From the 1997 Paul Verhoeven classic Starship Troopers is this Morita Ammo Clip Casing.Clips such as this can be seen throughout the film as the Troopers wield the Morita rifles which feature this uniquely designed piece.
The clip casing, which was designed to slip over an actual clip holding live ammunition, is made of fiberglass and has numerous detailed accents including the two large oval indentions on each side of the highly recognizable piece.
The clip measures approximately 5” x 4” (13cm x 10cm). Due to heavy production use during the film, including the epic battle sequences, a small portion of the casing has chipped away, however, this "battle tested" piece remains in fair condition.
