Star Wars Return of the Jedi, storyboard and fur of ewok teeboo

This is a display containing a storyboard (apparently showing an ewok asking for help after a crash in its glider) and a piece of fur of the ewok teeboo. 
I'm still puzzled by the color difference between the costume (the character is black and grey) and the one in the display (it's blond and brown). It could be explained by the lighting of the set or by the aging of synthetic fur, but I found other fur props of this character still white...
