This fabulous “Reptilian Skin” bodysuit was worn by one of the enthusiastic Convention Fans in the cult sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest (1999).
Made by Western Costume Company, this form-fitting bodysuit features a striking reptile-scale print and is tagged Gayle Davis Los Angeles, Size Small with #8 marked in pen. In the film, the costume is worn underneath a silver vest with matching silver cuffs—clearly seen in the accompanying reference photos.
This piece comes from the same character ensemble as the Protector Crew fan sweatshirt also featured in my collection—reuniting the outfits just as it appeared on screen!
