Planet of the Apes, gorilla back plate extender
original movie costume
This is cast fiberglass and was used during filming. This was designed by Colleen Atwood the Academy Award winner in 2003 and 2006 for best costume design.
This is a back plate extender that was attached to the bottom of the back plate armor if the actor was taller and needed more coverage.
