An original Ghostface knife used in the production of the 2011 Wes Craven sequel Scream 4. The film sees the return of Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), who returns to her hometown – the site of the original Woodsboro murders – as part of a book promotion tour. The return of the Ghostface killer on the fifteenth anniversary of the killings leaves Sidney once again in peril.
This stunt knife and others like it were used by the famous “Ghostface” killer as they returned to Woodsboro for another killing spree. The stunt buck knife is made from rubber to ensure the safety of the cast during use on the production when the hero metal version was not required. A silver gloss paint has been used for the blade and pommel with black paint used for the handle. Additional lengths of tape have been applied to the handle for additional grip when in use.
Featuring some minor wear from use on the production and traces of blood around the knife’s guard, this instantly recognisable weapon remains in good condition and is presented in a stunning framed display featuring the film’s title artwork, a still from the film and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.
