The Legend of Zorro, Zorro Fireproofed Cape

Fireproofed Zorro Cape:

This shorter cape is a Fireproofed Zorro Cape.

The original description by Rainmakers/Hollywood Vault for this unique cape stated that this was one of Antonio Banderas’ capes and that it was used during the “barn on fire” scene in The Legend of Zorro.

It also mentioned that among a few other things, “there could be some discoloration due to fire retardant that had been placed on the cape.”

It is the only Zorro cape that I have seen so far to be made of a different material than all the others out there, most likely to endure the most intense action scenes and fire environments which it was put through.

It also has two hardly noticeable stitched-closed holes for harness work which is required usually during action scenes.

It has a fabric loop sewn into the back too, to possibly attach it to something for, as of now, unknown reasons that I hope to decipher someday.
