The Wolverine, Yukio's Katana and Metal Saya

Expertly crafted, this Japanese katana features a dulled blade attached to a beautiful tsuka (handle). The sword rests in an extravagant saya (scabbard) with a highly detailed series of images engraved into the sides (see photos). These metallic engravings, which extend into the tsuka of the sword, depict a war and its aftermath. Although the saya features a metallic exterior, the interior is made of wood. Sharing the design aesthetic, the katana has a metal tsuka that continues the story found on the sides of the saya. This meets the tsuba (guard) which has four hearts cut into the corners.
