Xena: Warrior Princess, Xena’s pirate costume from “Destiny”

This is Xena’s screen-matched, screen-worn pirate costume from the season 2 episode “Destiny”, complete with Lucy Lawless’s costume tags. This is the costume that Xena wears when she learns “the pinch” from M’Lila after discovering the Gallic stowaway during the sea voyage to ransom Julius Caesar back to Brutus. Originally sold during the 2001-2002 It’s a Wrap! auction, it features a bejeweled headpiece, a red brocade waistcoat, screen-printed blue and purple silk pants, filigreed metal bracelets, a leather belt with brass links and accents, and gold leather sandals. The waistcoat and pants can be screen matched based on the arrangment of fabric patterns, and the belt can be screen matched owing to a superficial tear in the grain of the leather next to the buckle.

Note: The coin vest armor and robe seen in the episode are missing, and it is believed the robe was a one-of-a-kind piece that Rittenhouse obscenely cut up to make its costume cards.
