Xena: Warrior Princess, Xena's blue robe - Ides of March

In the final moments of the season cliffhanger, as Xena and Gabrielle die on the cross and their spirits are released heavenward, Xena leaves her body first and then awakens Gabrielle. Both are wearing flowing white gowns. Then the girls swirl heavenward. This blue robe came with Xena's white gown which is also in my collection and it is labeled Xena/Lucy. The story that went with it is that thye scene was very blown out with white light and the white dresses against the pale blue background and the only dark thing was Lucy's hair. This was apparently causing problems with the filming so they attempted to alter Lucy's costume by adding this sheer blue robe over Lucy's white gown but it didn't give the look they wanted. In the end, the final moments were done in CGI images of the girls in the white gowns only and the blue robe was not used.
