X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Wolverine's Claws
original movie prop
A pair of Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) signature adamantium claws from the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Wolverine’s claws are achieved in the film through use of a cleverly designed film prop, where the blades actually connect to a support held tightly by Jackman in his hands. The blades of the claws are made from resin, and each one measures 10 in length. The claws have a cast-in-place metal post, which would run between Jackman’s fingers and attach to the flat base pad held in his palm. The base pads have been inscribed L and R, accordingly. This fantastic set of claws represents the defining prop from the film, and features minor wear from use.
