This is an original Earl Hays Press prop wanted poster for William Bailey. These were seen in the background of many TV episodes and films, such as In the Heat of the Night. It can also be seen in several close-up shots in season 4, episode 12 of The Dukes of Hazzard. The same poster can be seen on a computer screen (with a modified photo) in The Big Goodbye, a season one episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. William Bailey was a real person who worked for EHP, and his name can also be seen in many of their other vintage items such as prop money (signature), product labels, newspapers (staff writer), and even a boxing poster from the 1967 Star Trek episode The City on the Edge of Forever.
