Wallace And Gromit in A Close Shave, Wendolene Puppet Armature
original movie prop
Wallace's whirlwind romance with the owner of the local wool shop puts his head in a spin; Gromit is framed for sheep-rustling in a fiendish criminal plot. From the 1995 Aardman film A Close Shave, this is a scarce original production used animation puppet head and armature for the character Wendolene Ramsbottom (voiced by Anne Reid). Once a screen used puppet which was stripped of its costume after production; she owns a wool shop and asks Wallace and Gromit to wash her windows. Her father Fred Ramsbottom, was an inventor who created a dog called Preston.
