Andromeda, Wayist Medallion

In first season episode The Devil Take the Hindmost, the crew of the Andromeda come upon an isolated group of humans called the Hajira, followers of The Way, who possess genetic memory and have a history remarkably free of violence. The arrival of the Andromeda during a time of attacks by aggressive slavers forces a decision about whether the Hajira should abandon non-violence, potentially saving themselves but directly damaging their shared cultural memory for generations to come.  Andromeda crewmember Rev Bem, a Wayist as well, also wears this version of the medallion in later episodes.
