Star Trek: The Original Series, Wall Comm (functional)

This is a replica of the wall communicator seen throughout the USS Enterprise NCC-1701. It's made from cast-resin parts, an acrylic sheet and a particle wood back board. The electronics are simple recordable sound modules with jury-rigged LEDs . It was mounted on 1/2" thick particle board to conceal the electronics and make it mountable on the wall.
