The Valentine Davies Award for Lifetime Achievement presented to noted 20th Century Fox screen writer Philip Dunne, in 1974, who was also a founder of the WGA. Davies, who died in 1961, was the author of the stage and screen play of "MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET."
Dunne wrote the screen plays for "HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY" (AA Nom.), "THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY", "THE RAINS CAME", "FOREVER AMBER", and "THE ROBE" among others.
