Over the course of fifth season episodes Lost, The Real Thing, and Force Quit, the crew of the Astraeus gradually come to realize that the Eureka they have apparently returned to, after the aborted mission to Titan, is an illusion.  Kidnapped by the Consortium and connected to a total immersion simulation through direct neural interface headsets, some of the most brilliant minds of Eureka are kept working on new scientific applications, (at first) unaware of their true circumstances.
