The “To Victory” poster is without doubt now iconic in its own right and has been reproduced en masse as a poster. In the episode “Victory of the Daleks” we actually see the poster sat on Winston Churchill’s desk presumably awaiting his approval as a propaganda poster for his new weapon, The Ironsides. This is the artists proof by Peter McKinstry that was produced, and we can see here approved, for use in the programme by the production office. A fascinating item in the evolution of this famous Nu-Who Dalek image.
