SeaQuest DSV, UEO Sonar Data Feedback Modulator Sensor

This prop is a part of a Seaquest shuttle craft's (or Launch's) Sonar Equipment. It is label as a UEO Data Feedback Module F-NL3. It also states the unit to be a Type 3 Deep Scan Sonar Equipment. The prop is made of metal and is quite heavy. It also has a markings related to pressure adjustments with a large toddle switch at the bottom of the prop. There is also a large adjustment screw on the upper side section of the prop, which moves a metal tab reader on the reverse side of the prop back and forth.

The auction tag lists this prop as item 196-014 and was used in the 3rd season episode "Reunion" where a fugitive character named "Freeman" wanted this sonar module to help him keep track of the Seaquest DSV's position and movements. With this information Freeman would be able to detect any incoming intruder's to the colony and also allow him to plan his escape without being detected by the Seaquest and its crew. The module and 2 others just like it, can be seen very briefly being handled by minor characters who were part of Freeman's escapee group taking the modules out of the shuttle.
