Carried and used by Lieutenant Saavik as she, Captain Kirk and Doctor McCoy explore space station Regula 1, searching for Carol Marcus and the Genesis Device.

Custom engineered hero replica, created by extensive modification of a static resin kit for increased screen accuracy, painted and pinstriped, with metal, resin, styrene and acrylic details, and the addition of newly designed electronics. Depressing the red trigger switch, which functions in both momentary and latch modes, activates a cycling bank of 6 white scanning head LEDs, illuminates 4 rectangular status LEDs with the leftmost red status indicator blinking, cycles a group of 6 green target LEDs in an arc across the coordinate grid display, and initiates digital scanning sound effects. Powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery with charging port under the base. With reinforced strap attachment point, and screen accurate shoulder strap (not shown here).
