This suit was worn by the character "Michael Sullivan, Sr.," portrayed by actor Tom Hanks, in the 2002 motion picture, "Road To Perdition." The 3-pc pinstripe suit has faux blood mark and bullet hole on the shoulder and includes, a blue self-stripe dress shirt with matching blood mark and bullet hole on shoulder, suspenders, and a red patterned tie. The suit jacket by John David Ridge has "Mr. Tom Hanks" clearly typed on the label. Also includes the original costumer's tag listing various production and scene information.
Mr. Hanks can be seen wearing this suit during the sequence when he tracks down the mob accountant, Alexander Rance (Dylan Baker), for information and is shot by Halen Maguire (Jude Law) during his escape. "Road To Perdition," starring Tom Hanks, Paul Newman, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, and Tyler Hoechlin, was nominated for six Academy Awards. The plot takes place in 1931, during the Great Depression, following a mob enforcer and his son as they seek vengeance against a mobster who murdered the rest of their family.
