Authentic Titianic Movie Prop
A section of riveted iron strapping from the Titanic, the movie set Titanic ...The movie was made in Rosarito Beach, Baja, Mexico a few years ago and this piece was cut from a longer piece of the ships riveted iron strapping. The iron strapping was used in many areas of the superstructure, companionways etc etc. It has a very heavy coat of original movie set paint and four rivets. Some of the paint has been chipped off. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches at the longest side x 4 1/4 inches wide by 3/4 inches thick. It measures 8 1/4 inches long at the shorter side. The material appears to be marine ply and the rivets are of resin.
