This beautiful comb was created by the American artist Jill Bailey who made several pieces of jewelry inspired by iconic Edwardian styles from the film Titanic. This beautiful comb is made with plique a jour enamel wings and brass veining on a burgundy toothed comb. This comb is made slightly different than the authorized J Peterman comb (i'am assuming) due to copyright infringements. This version of the butterfly comb is a bit more wearable than Peterman's due to it being lighter in weight. Anyone looking to make a fashion statement with a butterfly comb I would recommend Bailey's comb over the Peterman version. I bought this comb directly through Bailey back when she offered them through her website many years ago. Bailey's comb is absolutely stunning when light shines through the wings.
