In the Clockworks story arc, The Locke kids finally learn details about the mysterious Keyhouse keys, their ancestor Benjamin Locke, and the Black Door. This key allows events in the past to be witnessed, when inserted into the door of the Timeshift Clock, a grandfather clock located on the stairway between the 3rd and 4th floors of Keyhouse.
