The Village, Those we don't speak of
original movie costume
This is a one of a kind hero screen worn costume from the 2004 production of "The Village." WARNING: "Spoiler" if you haven’t seen the film the following information could spoil the ending for you. This is the costume Adrien Brody wore for his portrayal of "Those We Don't Speak Of" and as Noah Percy in "The Village."
The animatronic mask is made of fiberglass silicone and machined metal parts. (Fully functional.) The rest of the costume is made of various fabrics that have been weathered and stained. There are also faux bones, fur, feathers, and leather straps to maintain the multilayered look of the design. The main body of the suit is a spandex bodysuit which has the various materials attached forming the pants and the ribcage area. The suit also incorporates padding and fur to give it the creepy hunchback form. The gloves are made of spandex as well with the various materials attached ending with long semi rigid urethane claws. The boots are actually formed around sport shoes that are approximately size 11. The large cloak has the signature "porcupine" spikes built into it and has been weathered.
