Custom replica of the Bride's Hanzo katana. "Live" blade, made from folded steel.
I bought a folded-steel katana with the same dimensions as the film-used blade and bought fittings that matched what was used on the film sword. I carved the Shi shi horimono on the blade (carving hardened steel is a real PITA) and assembled everything.
I also carved the decorations on the saya and added the proper (wakizashi length) sageo as well as made the brass bittings for the saya..
