I built this full scale prop-replica of the Wrath Of Khan Phaser from a Roddenberry kit. The entire kit is cast resin. I improvised my own electronics including working control panel lighting and selectable 'phaser beam' firing patterns. I replaced the kit's butt-plate with a new one scratch-built from thick sheet styrene - the new butt-plate incorporates an on/off switch recessed so the phaser can sit flush on the pistol grip.
