Star Trek: The Original Series, TOS COMMUNICATOR - DST

This is the DST toy version of the Original Series communicator.  Except for the antenna, it's all plastic.  It chirps and the lights flash when the antenna is opened. One button allows you to playback a series of 'celeb voices' quoting lines from  Star Trek. The most interesting thing about this toy is the second button which lets you activate a 'delayed message' setting - when pressed nothing happens, close the antenna and soon after the communicator 'beeps' with an incoming message signal. Flipping the antenna open at this point produces Spock's voice, "Shall I beam down an armed party, captain?"  Nice touch for a toy.
