SD replica of "No. 1's" laser from first pilot, "The Cage," with sight, functional barrel extension, floating "forced overload" ring, working emitter light, three-emitter force setting (as actor Peter Duryea demonstrated in one shot).
Briefly seen in the second pilot, "Where No Man Has Gone Before," with additional greeblies added.
SD did a great job recreating a guided barrel extension, and using the rear ring as a locking ring (Jeffrey Hunter sort of pantomimed this in the pilot).
The front ring also rotates and locks into three positions for each emitter to light up.
