I built this Cobra Phaser from a Roddenberry kit. The kit is all cast resin and has a large open bay for installing electronics. I completed this phaser by installing professional electronics for a working power level indicator and sound effects. I replaced the sound board's red LED with a bright yellow one to more closely reproduce the yellowish beams seen in the TV show. The phaser's grip is solid resin, which gives it a nice balance and weight.
