TITANIC - ORIGINAL FAUX STEEL FRAMEWORK. This is a piece of faux ship steel framework. It was made to give the impression of being real steel, when, in reality, it is only painted/coated timber. The timber was so convincingly done that only a closer inspection gives it away. It was rescued from the dump site at Rosarito Beach, Mexico and shows wear; primarily from its immersion in water for the sinking scenes.
