This is the Phaser-I from my full-scale replica of the StarFleet Technical Manual version of the TOS Phaser-II.  This P-I is  solid resin with metal deflector strips & a 'half-round' (non-moving) metal thumbwheel.  The P-I has no front end detail at all - it's just flat and there's no room to add any detail (it won't fit onto the P-II body if any emitter detail is added).  While this P-I is very similar to the ones uses on the TV show, it is a bit bigger (broader), a bit longer, and the clear dome over the power-readout is almost flat.
