Starfleet Type 2 (Dustbuster) Phaser from Star Trek: The Next Generation. (Paramount-TV, 1987-94) Cast resin painted grey and black, with graphic decals for trigger buttons and additional polyester resin components for the firing tip. Used exclusively throughout the first two seasons and can be seen prominently in episodes such as "Encounter at Farpoint," "A Matter of Honor," "Datalore," "Heart of Glory," "Shades of Gray," "Skin of Evil," "The Arsenal of Freedom," "The Last Outpost" and "Time Squared." Built by Prop'er Effects and measures 8 1/2 in. long. A very rare prop weapon from the series.
