Titanic, Stained Glass Window from Titanic's Smoking Room
original set dressing / pieces
From the 1997 James Cameron Titanic movie, this is one of the four stained glass window sections from the 'Smoking Room' in the movie.
There were four window sections made for the one wall in the movie as shown in the photo with Jack and Rose. Another photo shows this exact window behind Thomas Andrews as he checks his pocket watch while the Titanic is sinking.
Each section was made up of 4 pane windows with each section and window being a different scene. This window is the window section that is the second one from the right as seen in the movie.
Of the four sections, this is the only one that remained fully intact and survived the sinking of the ship and dismantling of the set after the movie.
It features four different glass panes with scenes that are hand painted, and has faux leading and is in a mahogany frame.
This prop features heavily in the following 3 scenes: #28 "Find Her" from 1:29:25 - 1:29:30; #47 "Questions of Character" from 2:28:10 - 2:28:55; and #49 "Nearer My God To Thee" from 2:39:00 - 2:39:02.
The window is also featured from the outside in various shots showing the entire length of Titanic as it is sinking throughout the movie.
